Fansipan

Fansipan (3,143 m) is the highest peak in Indochina. Since the cable car opened, the walking routes have become quiet and wild again: dwarf bamboo, ancient rhododendron, rocky steps and camps at 2,200 m and 2,800 m. The three classic lines are Tram Ton (shortest, 11.5 km one way), Sin Chai (long and empty) and Cat Cat (the hardest). Hoang Lien National Park requires a permit and a licensed porter or guide.
