Overview
An ultra on the Dong Van karst plateau in buckwheat-flower season. Dry, sun-exposed courses over jagged karst with sections along the Tu San canyon walls – more technical than VMM but with scenery found nowhere else. The 100K and 70K carry a UTMB Index.

Course
The 100K leaves Dong Van's old quarter at 9 pm, passes Lung Cu in the dark, returns over Ma Pi Leng at dawn and finishes in Meo Vac. The 42K focuses on the Ma Pi Leng – Tu San section with 2,400 m of climbing. The 21K loops Dong Van via Don Cao fort and H'Mong villages.

Rules
Athletes must be 18 on race day (16 for distances ≤ 21 km with parental consent). Mandatory kit is checked at bib collection and randomly on course: charged phone, emergency blanket, whistle, minimum 1 litre capacity (2 litres for ≥ 70 km), headlamp with spare batteries for any distance starting or finishing in the dark, and a personal cup (no disposable cups at aid stations). Littering outside aid stations, cutting the course or receiving assistance outside designated zones means disqualification. Bib transfers are allowed up to 30 days before the race for a 100,000 ₫ fee; 50 % refund up to 60 days before, none after.
Travel
Hanoi – Ha Giang is 6 h by sleeper bus, plus 4 h to Dong Van. The organiser runs a full shuttle (add-on). Border zone – carry ID or passport.
Accommodation
Dong Van has few rooms – around 1,500 beds. The organiser adds homestays in Sa Phin and Lung Cu with shuttles. Book as soon as you register.
