I was born in Ta Van and started portering on Fansipan at 17. Twelve years later I have summited more than 300 times by all three routes and guided people through every valley around Sa Pa. I take small groups – six at most – because that is the only way to really see the mountains. I speak H'Mong, Vietnamese and enough English to tell the stories.

12 years guiding, 300+ Fansipan summits, zero serious accidents. Drew and GPS-recorded the Ta Van – Ban Ho route on MONT. Volunteer on the VMM sweep team since 2018.
