I moved to Vietnam in 2018 after a decade of ultrarunning in Europe and the US, and quickly learned that everything I knew about running in the cold was useless here. Since then I have coached both expats across Asia and Vietnamese runners targeting international races – UTMB, Tarawera, HK100. My Vietnamese is at the 'order pho and discuss pacing' level.
Experience
UTMB finisher 2016, Western States 2019, HK100 five times. Eleven years of coaching, 15 athletes taken to UTMB. Unofficial FKT on the Fansipan Tram Ton round trip, 4:52.
